Wedding Package

Micro-Wedding Package
A beautifully intimate celebration designed for smaller guest counts up to 50, featuring a ceremony in the Shed & Courtyard and a reception in the Milking Parlor with a streamlined two-day timeline for a simple, meaningful, and effortlessly elegant experience.
Wedding Rehearsal – Add On
Start your wedding weekend the right way. After setup day, gather your closest people in the Milking Parlor for a relaxed rehearsal dinner, whether that’s catered takeout, wood-fired pizza, or your favorite local spot. Full Weekend Celebration
Our full facility experience is the most requested and comprehensive wedding package. Enjoy full, private access to the entire property for a seamless celebration from start to finish, which includes ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and beyond.
With exclusive use of all event spaces, built-in amenities, generous setup time, and expert on-site support, this package allows you to relax, celebrate, and fully experience the magic of the Octagon Barn.

We also offer a selection of smaller or customized packages for couples with different needs, guest counts, or timelines, just reach out, and we’d love to explore the right fit for your celebration.
What are next steps if I am interested in booking?
Please complete our Interest Form and expect a response within 2-3 days. Venue management will provide availability, pricing, and schedule a tour. After a tour, a questionnaire is sent over for completion, followed by the contract and proposal.
How do I secure my event date?
We require a signed contract and 50% deposit to book. Final payment is due 30-days before the event. A fully refundable damages deposit is collected for any time the renter and/or vendors are onsite.
Do you do custom wedding packages or only reception package?
Absolutely! Submit our Wedding Inquiry Form and include as much information as possible. We are always happy to create a package perfect for you!
What is the maximum capacity?
The venue can accommodate up to 200 people for a seated reception. If your group is larger than 200, reach out and we can discuss options!
Are there charges to rent the tables and chairs?
Materials are included in the rental rate with the exception of the heaters. Use of the heaters costs $100 to cover the cost of propane. Materials are available in as-is condition. Reach out for more information on quantities. Final quantities are available 30-days before the event.
Materials available include round banquet tables, white chairs, a bar, cocktail tables, umbrellas, adirondack chairs, rectangular six-foot tables, trash containers, cleaning supplies, and heaters.
Are there alcohol requirements?
The venue is not associated with a restaurant or winery. You may bring in your own alcohol, however, shots are not allowed. A licensed and insured bartender is required for all alcohol service, and an event liability policy must be submitted with liquor liability coverage.
What hours can I book?
Most weddings book our Complete Octagon Experience, which includes full facility access from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. We’re happy to adjust event hours when arranged in advance. Please note that all amplified sound must end at 10 p.m., and the property is locked at 11 p.m. with no exceptions.

What vendors are required?
Weddings require all licensed and insured vendors. The venue provides a preferred vendor list. All vendors booked outside the list must be pre-approved. Required vendor categories include – coordinator, catering, bartending (if alcohol is served), and security (booked by venue). Additional vendor categories are based on client need.
Can we bring in our own vendors?
Venue management will provide a preferred vendor list. If you choose a vendor not on the list, management must approve the vendor and vendor must be able to provide liability insurance. For larger vendor categories (caterer, coordinator, installs, etc.), new vendors must schedule a tour with the venue to review plans and review expectations.
What fees can I expect?
There are no additional fees beyond the rental rate, except for security and optional propane usage.

Security: $55 per hour, beginning 30 minutes before guest arrival through property lock-up.

Propane: $100 fee if propane heaters are used.

Refundable Damage Deposit: $1,500 due one week prior to your event. The deposit is fully refundable within 10 business days after your event, provided there is no damage or holdover.
Can we have candles?
We welcome LED and other battery powered candles. The Octagon Barn Center is a non-smoking venue. Catering setups with cooking must be 20+ feet away from any structure.
Are wedding coordinators required?
Yes wedding coordinators are a required vendor that must be present on the property throughout setup and the day of the wedding. They will serve as the main point of contact for all vendors and must be available for a final details call with the wedding couple and Venue Manager.
